NEAAO uses ResourceConnect to provide a secure, encrypted, confidential place to chat.  Please note that this is not an emergency or crisis line.  If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1.

Staff are available to CHAT Tuesday through Thursday, 10 am to 1 pm (EST).  

NEAAO’s CHAT is confidential and anonymous, and once you close the window, we cannot respond.  If you need a response outside our CHAT hours, please call us at 207-800-5398 or email us at info@neaao.org

Your messages will not be saved or stored on our devices or on yours. Once you close the chat window, the conversation is gone forever.

The chat window has a Quick Escape button. You can use this to immediately close the chat and redirect to Google. This may be helpful if you’re worried about someone nearby seeing your screen.
